Top: Boohoo
Rings: Gogo Philip
Skater skirt: Internacionale

This is probably my favourite comfortable outfit at present. It's the perfect mix of comfortable and cool. The shirt it perfect, it's so soft and floaty but my favourite bit is the cut out shoulders- I can't get enough of showing off my roses. I've had this top for a while but I wear it so little because I like it so much that I don't want it to wear out- I hope I'm not the only one who doesn't wear their favourite clothes.

This look is topped of with my most comfortable hair (a messy big bun) my laziest skater skirt and simple accessories- my beautiful handmade pressed flower pendant by Paige Johanna.

I've been wearing mostly comfortable clothes lately, still no heels for me. I feel like I just don't have time to try to stumble round in heels; I'm just so busy! Work with TOO MUCH overtime (and job hunting), applying to uni plus all the wedding prep for my sister I feel like I've barely got 5 seconds to sit down and relax.

I know my blogging has taken a massive hit because of this- I just can't keep up with all the posts I want to read :(

My holiday cannot come quick enough- I hope the next 6 weeks fly by. I hope Egypt is ready for two (currently) ginger 23 year old girls :)

Listening to: It's My Life- No Doubt.

Don't forget about my giveaway here.

This weekend has taken it all out of me- I wish I had two more days to relax.

Friday was two friends going away night- there off to India for 6 months then to Canada permanently. To say goodbye a few friends who played in bands all got together for a mini festival night. After working so much last week I could barely keep my eyes open even with two cans of coke. I hate goodbyes I never really know what to say but I'm so happy for them.

Yesterday I went shopping- mostly to buy a sleep bra but also to return a jacket. Has anyone else had major problems with ordering online from New Look? It was a nightmare! It took 10 attempts to pay for my item then I didn't get a confirmation until after my jacket was delivered :( by this time I had bought another jacket elsewhere which I'm glad I did- as the "white" jacket ended up being a cream colour. I wont be shopping online there again but they still remain to be one of my favourite stores.

Last night I acted as stage manager for my friends charity night where she organized an amazing burlesque night. The hosts Sadie Sinner and Miss C were amazing- as well as all the acts! Then we all danced our bums off. The venue was to capacity and it was just an amazing night even if I had to use all the force in my arms (zero) to move equipment between acts and now my arms are practically falling off, and I stepped on a lot of toes and pushed a lot people. The best part I'd she reached me target (nearly £2000) and is all set to run the marathon for the Pilgrims Hospice- if you want info/ to donate here's her just giving page.

I only managed a few iPhone snaps on the night (sorry) but it was unbelievable! I might even start a career as a stage manager.

This is what I wore to the gig on Friday- as I didn't have time to snap a non sweaty version if yesterday's look (my motel rocks dress and studded garters). I had straightened my hair for the first time in months and whenever I do I feel a little like a mental health patient so I was running my hands through it constantly.

Tights & beaded headband: Primark
Bag: River Island
Belt: New Look
Lipstick: wine- Rimmel
Creepers: Camden market (similar here)
bracelets: Thomas Sabo, Links of London, Topshop and gift.
Studded garters: DIY
Coat: New Look

I've been wearing my studded garters a lot lately, and they've been going down a treat. People have been asking where I bought them- they're a DIY but there are a variety online. For this sort of thing esty is the best and all 3 are from there and can be found here, here, and here.

Sorry I have been absent from blogging this weekend but the rest if today is fir replying to comments and reading blogs :)

Listening to: Starlight- Madonna

I feel like I've dragged a bus 10 miles- where has all my energy gone? This is one of those weeks I wish I never gave up caffeine. I might be massive tea fan but it's caffeine free- I try to keep my body as clean as I possibly can. I'm going to spend this weekend relaxing as much as I can and actually have a lie in!

It's been a LONG time coming  finally another DIY post :)

Am I alone in suffering from the low winter sun? I can't drive to work without sunglasses. So here is a simple way to customise a pair, using glasses I recieved in the Look Show goodie bag (but I don't like the diamonds so never wore them), my trusty super glue (from Hobbycraft) and these fimo clay flower beads.

I can't express how simple this was! Just a little blob of glue on a flower, rest it in place for a few seconds (about 10 my glue is quick). Once one side was done i mimicked it on the other and left to dry over night.

Worried about sticking them to yourself/ a table- Esty is packed with beauties. Such as these floral pair, gold and bronze rose pair, and these pearl and floral pair (all from Kawaii Kitsch.

Listening to: Can't By Me Love- The Beatles.

Later than usual, but here is yet another DIY post!

Today I made two awesome studded headbands! I've been fascinated by studded headbands lately (and I;m sure I'm not the only one) but rather than buy one I wanted one that was 'me' for just a fraction of the price (I think mine cost  a grand total on 1 pound!).

I took left over eBay studs, and 2 elastic headbands from Tescos.
Then if you 'half-stretch' the headband when you add the studs the headband won't be either too tight or too loose.

I love them and can't wait to were them out!

So  sorry about the rubbish phone photos, but despite changing battery's about 4 times my camera just wont work :( Also sorry about covering my face- serious panda eyes going on (and wild hair!) and my skin is awful after a weekend of heavy eating; I mean look at the dinner my boyfriend made yesterday!

A mountain of roast potatos, peas and carrots, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, veggie gravy and veggie hot dogs. Although this is nothing compared to my boyfriends mountain of meat!

He cooked epic meals all weekend (or whenever we eat together really) and they taste so good I eat them all (even though I burnt my tongue on a potato).

What do you think of the inspiration at the beginning of the post? I  thought it would be a nice way to show you what I get inspired from.

(P.S. I've just won a fantastic pair of velvet trousers on eBay- woooo!)
